Issue 7 - Day 4

Romans 3

Romans 3:23-24

  1. For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
  2. Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Here is a great turning point of Romans. for the last three chapters Paul speaks of the law, and how we just don't match up, and now suddenly we have the solution. We cannot work our way to Heaven, the only way is through Christ Jesus. if we try to win our salvation it won’t work. Worse still, God has given us the law to reveal our sin and none of us reach the standard, not even one. Salvation is a free gift, given through Christ Jesus. He paid the price, dying on the cross and defeated death, rising on the third day.

The question is what will we do with this information. If you don't know Christ then please, accept his gift of salvation today. If you already know him then don’t waste the time, share the good news with others today.

There is a fable which tells of three apprentice devils who were coming to this earth to finish their apprenticeship. They were talking to Satan, the chief of the devils, about their plans to tempt and to ruin men.
The first said, "I will tell them that there is no God." Satan said, "That will not delude many, for they know that there is a God."
The second said, "I will tell men that there is no hell." Satan answered, "You will deceive no one that way; men know even now that there is a hell for sin."
The third said, "I will tell men that there is no hurry." "Go," said Satan, "and you will ruin men by the thousands."

Do not fall for this lie. Two people die every second. How many die not knowing Christ? Could they have known him if you had not waited to speak.
